Yesterday, Raina from IfTheLampshadeFits and I had lunch and a mini-shopping date yesterday. We started at a mediocre consignment store, which just happened to be across the street from Roche Bobois. Both of us are very familiar with their line, but neither had been into the store, so we decided to stop in. The furniture was lovely, the sales people weird and the merchandising horrific (complete with 80’s neon). I didn’t take any photos of the actual showroom because we were the only people in the probably 30,000 square foot store and didn’t want to be too conspicuous. Let’s just say it didn’t look like any of the photos below.
Raina’s favorite – “A female figure tied to a ball shaped ottoman symbolizing the shackles that keep women subjugated” according the the B&B Italia website – whoa, heavy. It certainly was fun to fondle.
Raina and I need to take this place over and make it the Euro-chic mecca it could be in Denver. We’re plotting!
